Riomaggiore Castle
Located at the top of the village, this ancient castle offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the colorful houses and the sea. Built in the 13th century as a defensive structure.
Via dell’Amore
This famous pedestrian path connects Riomaggiore to Manarola and offers spectacular seaside views.
Riomaggiore Harbor
One of the most photographed spots in Riomaggiore and all the Cinque Terre villages, the harbor is perfect to enjoy the marine atmosphere, sunsets, and traditional Ligurian boats.
Church of San Giovanni Battista
Built in 1340, this Ligurian-Gothic church is famous for its marble rose window and architectural details.
Fossola Beach
This beach near the harbor is reachable from the village in just 3 minutes, quiet and isolated, ideal for those seeking privacy. It is very small and made of pebbles.

How to get around?
In Riomaggiore and the Cinque Terre, getting around is easy by train, ferry, or on foot, enjoying every corner between sea, scenic paths, and picturesque villages.
Train
Only 5 minutes from the house is the train station, with frequent service in the summer (about every 15 minutes). The railway is the only coastal route, allowing quick travel between villages: Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso.
Ferry
From April to October, ferries are the most spectacular way to visit the Cinque Terre. Departures approximately every hour from Piazza San Giacomo at the Marina of Riomaggiore.
All villages are visited except Corniglia, which can be reached by train.
Don’t miss the boat tour to Portovenere – breathtaking scenery.
On foot
The best way to discover the village and its scenic trails among vineyards overlooking the sea.
