How to get around?

In Riomaggiore and the Cinque Terre, getting around is easy by train, ferry, or on foot, enjoying every corner between sea, scenic paths, and picturesque villages.

Treno

Train

 Only 5 minutes from the house is the train station, with frequent service in the summer (about every 15 minutes). The railway is the only coastal route, allowing quick travel between villages: Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso.

Battello

Ferry

From April to October, ferries are the most spectacular way to visit the Cinque Terre. Departures approximately every hour from Piazza San Giacomo at the Marina of Riomaggiore.
All villages are visited except Corniglia, which can be reached by train.
Don’t miss the boat tour to Portovenere – breathtaking scenery.
